Today starts The White County 4-H Fair here in Indiana. Last week I attended the Beef Show at The Cass County 4-H Fair. My kids and most of my Grand Kids are too old to show anymore, Last year I watyched my Great Grandson show dairy cattle at the local county fair, talk about making one feel old. How many on here enjoy going to their local 4-H County Fairs?

It's a great chance to set up a informational booth about trapping also when my daughter's were in 4H they did that and even skinned a coyote at one of the meetings many parents who were fence sitters but shifted over to the pro trapping side of things. Allan

My son did all the county fairs in NH....he showed his flock of Oxford Sheep..from age 10-18. Then started doing the open shows. He took about 5 years off and is now buying some oxfords and getting back into it. And to tell you the truth...all his friends are still his 4H friends to this day.
