The vise grip clamp with a pipe welded to the bottom, placed in a hole in the table top(and frame) gives you 360 use. Hern on here has done it this way, great option.
Let's go Brandon!

I made a fixed base vice grip clamp for opening cuts and quickly realized I needed another for smaller animals in a different spot on fur table. I didn't want to unscrew base and move clamp every time when needed. So I came up with this design- Clamp swivels this way, and that way This clamp design swivels. Very portable as well... I drilled hole in work bench and outside work table so I can use clamp for off season projects.

Some good ideas here. Several of which I've used in my shed. Only wish I had more room.

Some familiar things here - vice grips and an actual metal vice. I find that I use my table all year round for various projects. My metal vice is handy for closing J hooks and a million other things when you need an extra pair of hands.
My table is an old science lab table from a local high school. You probably remember the old 1.5" think fire proof tables. Makes for quick clean up and cost me almost nothing.
One idea I haven't heard - mine is easily movable as the top is setting on two saw horses. I did this because in the fall I move my base of operations to the garage where I have an overhead skinning machine (Thanks ADC!). It is pretty slick to do the opening cuts on the table and turn around and do the skinning without moving much. When the weather gets really cold in December and the initial rush is over things get moved to my basement where I can still work but am a little more comfortable. I will try and post a picture later.
