Heading up to Erie in the morning. I will be fishing the PA part out of Walnut. If anyone is interested in going with me, PM me by 6 tonight I may still have a seat. Cost you $15 for gas, byob, sammich and obviously your own rods.

I'd love to but I'm booked up pre fishing on Fort Peck Lake for the kid's fishing day on Saturday the water level is way up so things will be rather interesting to say the least here. I'll have grandkids with me which I'm looking forward to ! Stay Safe and catch a bunch of fish ! Allan

You’re already going, why would you charge someone for gas? Well, they are getting on the boat that I had to put gas in, the boat I had to tow an hour to get up there the boat I have to pay for the registration, upkeep, repairs not to mention the trailer, wear and tear and gas for my own truck to get there. All the bells and whistles I had to pay for inside the boat, sonar, radio, flairs, life preservers, GPS and the like. Mind if I charge a measly $15 to help me out with gas lugging someone else around on the lake? Is that alright with you?

When my friends would go out with me it was $30/person. Especially if you're trolling.

No it’s not alright with me. You bought all those things for yourself and planned on going fishing whether anyone joins you or not. Do you have a guiding license since you’re charging people to go fishing with you?

Well, since it's not alright with you I guess your lucky that your not going. Save your $15 for the spring when the hairy hill women come down from the mountains in red flannel.

I think Finsters invite is very generous. It takes a lot of money to take a boat out. $20 or $30 is not unreasonable for a day on the water. Hope you have a great day and catch some whoppers!!

Seriously You guys are going to complain about a guy who offers to take you fishing and wants a little help with the gas. When my buddies and I go we all chip in to help with expenses or we take turns hosting the trip. If I was close I would jump at the chance, who knows you might even learn something. Finster it is a generous offer and I thank you for it. If you are ever coming this way let me know maybe we can meet up for coffee or to do something fun.
