That is just wrong why do people with guns think they have to shoot everything..

You can see what's going to happen someday. Some clown will think it funny to dress up like Bigfoot and scare the scat out of the tourists. Meanwhile, some tourist is gonna shoot a Bigfoot.
Someone is going to get hurt or killed.
More stupidity. a lot of people don't think very far out or how things could go wrong. several years back a group of friends thought up the idea of how we could abduct a friend as the start to his bachelor party , actually the brides dad was a friend also and was in on the discussion , this seemed like an excellent idea for about 3 minutes until we all started coming up with a LOT of way this could go side ways and we could get hurt or arrested so we decided against any abductions. but your exactly right someone will intentionally try to scare people and will have not thought out how others could possibly react and end up very hurt or dead.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Off Bigfoot topic but I am surprised those people who dress up like deranged clowns and chase people with chainsaws and sledgehammers haven't had the air let out of them yet.

World is full of idiots and fools. Also, backcountry and camper don’t belong in the same sentence. Maybe the shooter was auditioning for that ridiculous tv show, the one where they build huge live cage traps and run around at night with lights and guns trying to “drive “ Bigfoot or the wolfman or the grass man into the “trap”. Those good ol boys are from some where around there? Oh yeah I just remembered the name of the show, “mountain monsters”. The leader’s handle is Trapper. What a bunch of maroons.

Mac When ya gotta hammer in your hand everything looks like a nail. This is exactly why the left says they should take away are Second Amendment Rights. The left does not think people are able to use firearms responsibly. They fear that gun owners will just shoot at anything or anyone, that provokes them. I have never shot at anything I should not of. I would guess most of the rest of gun owners have not either. Keith

Got to watch those National Parks. Crazy stuff happens there all the time. A lot of morons and city folk that don't know squat. Most people camping drunk out of there minds. There is also a good bit of violent crime in those places, the big stuff like rape, murder, assault and the like. Then you have the drunken locals that think they own the National Park. I had one of those idiots come into my camp at 3 in the morning, drunk as a monkey with a loaded 12 ga back in the mid 90's telling me how he owned all of the land. National parks are nice places to camp but you never want to let your guard down. Law enforcement is usually hours away at best and if someone is inclined to be a predator, that is the perfect place. My wife and I are always armed when we camp, at all times and one of the few places I open carry.

Well Finster , You ever see a bigfoot? Been in the woods all my life and never seen anything like that. I believe it is possible in extremely remote areas but very unlikely. It would be safe to call me a skeptic.
