A buddy of mine that lives up river called me about an animal he couldn`t ID.
He said it was bigger than a mink with a light belly.
I know we used to have a population in SE Wi, that escaped from a fur farm in Burlington.
Has anyone caught or seen one recently?
He set up cameras this week, but no luck yet.

Don’t know how many are around but there are a few, I have cousins down there and they see them now and then maybe every couple of years or so

I do know that one of them shot one that was causing trouble on their farm last year he was going to have it mounted last i heard

That's good because I couldn`t figure this one out.
This guy has lived on the water his whole life and described it to a T
Kinda cool to think they are still out there after 70 + years.. would make a cool mount.

I've got tons of them here. About 90% stone martens and 10% pine martens.
