Pat Ruland still lives in Broadus. I know him well but I am not him. LOL
I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

Late to this thread but I thought you guys might be interested to know that I saw the two prototypes of the smaller sizes at the Montana convention and they are extremely well built. He says he’s hoping to have some ready for sale by the first of the year but from the sound of it he’s already got fifty or sixty dozen on the waiting list

Cool looking concept. That center swivel apparatus is not technically a center swivel. Sure it allows for a stable trap, but once the foot is caught and the animal pulls, it will not act like an actual center swivel. That swiveling bar had better be as hard an woodpecker lips to avoid being bent as the animals pulls. I may well be picking nits here, but that is what I see. It may work just fine. If it can also swing down so it's inline and pulls from the center after a catch it would be great. Would like to see the bottom view.

He was in springfield. Had a chain spring shock absorber -swivel device I liked and also the way he fastens the chain to the trap. that trap/ trapchain fastening system is going to get copied. a lot. My thought exactly
