The main funding source is called the “Judgment Fund.” It’s a Congressional line-item appropriation that’s used for Endangered Species Act cases, Clean Water Act cases, and with other statutes that directly allow plaintiffs like Western Watersheds to recover attorney fees just by filing, even if there’s no hope in winning.

They are bleeding the country for BILLIONS every year with no end in sight.

They have no shelters that they run themselves theifs and Cons.

In just six years non-profit environmental groups filed more than 15-hundred lawsuits and in turn the Federal Government paid out more than $4.7 billion in taxpayer dollars in settlements and legal fees in cases against the U.S. government. This became available to them in 1980. One has to wonder what the total is that has been paid out.

Not to mention the wealth that these groups retain. Here are the numbers (2017) for environmentalist and animal rights groups whose revenues are more than $10 million annually. Just these 10 groups have 1.3 billion in net assets. The wealth of this "nonprofit" industry is staggering.

I heard about this stuff a couple years ago , it's just a way for the left to funnel tax payer $ into environmental groups and ultimately some makes into their pockets or campaigns. I wonder how the press and the left would react if Trump started funding right wing nonprofits this way.

Soooo, the big question here is what can we do about it? We all know something needs done, but how do we start the ball rolling?

I bet a call or email to our reps and Senators would work lol.

Just think about how much damage we could do if we could stop the flow of billions of OUR $ to these groups

Might be a good time to get the NTA in on it. Help us at least get it out to the other 10,000 or so other trappers. The hunters should also be on board as well as EVERY rancher and farmer.
