I was just wondering if there was anyone on here that are currently Active Duty and trapping? Specifically if anyone is stationed in Ohio.. I have been wanting to run a line for a few years but haven’t been able to, but I think I’m going to give it a try this year. If I’m not able, I would like to still just go run one a weekend with someone. I miss the good old days

I've been on active duty for 30 years and have trapped most of them. I always try to find someone local to ride along with when I don't have sets out and to learn the local ways and also join the state association. I don't always get to trap as much as I would like, but I do get a few sets out and skin a few animals.

Retired now but trapped quite a bit during my 24 years in, mostly around Ft Bragg NC and Ft Campbell KY. Always had to run lines on the weekends since Uncle Sam owned me from sunup to sundown unless I was on leave. Ditto on joining your state association, you'll make some good local contacts.

Welcome! Ditto what Adam said. Cheers to whatever you're drinking. Whether it's milk or bourbon.
