Whats the deal with the new Burger King Whopper made from plants? It was 1.00 more than the regular whopper. I saw 2 other commercials for "made from plants" but cant remember what they were. Guess Im just bored and want useless info.

Talk about GMO's not a speck of beef in it! To me it seemed drier and well done kinda. More sodium in it. Not many calories different. I guess yr saving a cow if u eat it.

It's not any healthier for u with about same protein and calories plus higher sodium content. Here is the BS lowdown: ) claims to use 95% less land than a cow, 74% less water, and 87% less greenhouse gas emissions!

It has some of the same ingredients found in dog food and they charge you more, I can't believe people would actually eat this

I almost tried it but for a buck less for a real whopper I just did the tried and true.

Soon crappy burgers like that will be all anybody who is not in the world saving, socialist elite will be allowed to eat. I hope Burger King goes out of business for giving occasio cortez's green new deal a push. I am sure they will use this as proof we don't need meat.

I have not been to a burger king in a lot of years..BUT...I have been to the White Turkey Drive in over in Conneaut, Oh. recently. I do bleeve I will go back there on my way through now and again.
I would drive 5 miles out of my way just for the root beer float alone! The turkey was larrupin good too.

Here's what the Washington Examiner is saying about the burger, "Everything you want in a burger is there, with the added benefit of no concern of animal suffering or cruelty. For some, that will be worth the extra money."

They should just call it the peta burger.

These are the same kind of folks that used to call me wanting to get rid of the beaver that were eating their shrubbery. They didn't like trapping but wanted those beaver out of there. DO NOT trap ANYTHING but the beaver. I would say, "beaver only, $50 a beaver". They would always reply, Oh, well you can trap anything you want.
Point is, I have doubts many are going to pay a premium for a "plant sandwich".
Really poor move for Burger King.

Many don't like it but it will not go away. Most of the real meat companies are working on the same thing as well as chicken. The ironic part is it's not any better for you than red meat.
