There aren't all dead here yet but they are dying. Cutting as much as I can for firewood.

Cut them down and mill them up, flooring I had milled from dead ash out back... I don’t have it installed yet, lots of character, with the grays in it....

Same thing here in Ohio. Good news though, I was talking with a park ranger the other day about the insect traps hanging in some of their trees looking for different insect species. No emerald ash borers showing up at all.

Pa got cleaned out 8-10 years ago. Almost all ash left standing have lost their bark and smaller limbs. I’ve noticed that many dead ash break off about half way up.

The power companies have had their hands full trying to cut them down before they fall on utility lines.

Ash is pretty scarce here in my neck of the woods. I have two giant white ash on the place and some smaller ones. I told my brother to not cut any as they are getting scarce here. Don't have the borer here yet as far as i know.

Old enough to know better, but dumb enough to still try.

Owen: You have a lot of Ash in your area. I have looked at several loads of ash being shipped over seas in the last 3 years from the mill at Selma which is only around 30 miles south of you.

City of Denver inoculates their ash trees along sidewalks and places a yellow ribbon around them. Printed on the ribbon - “I am a smart ash”.

...Dave, just cut them down, get the limbs off and saw them into 20” sections....split anything over 8” in diameter... stack them all next to my fire pit there off the corner of the house and I’ll do the rest lol

Insert profound nonsense here

I think you’ve done way too many fun chores in your life...let me know if they get to the point that they need to come down. I’ve got a Stihl saw and 2 log haulers to bring over

I will certainly do that. there are two more just off of my property line in case you need plenty of good firewood or cooking wood. I don't want them on my wife's fence.
