The one that live down the road from me told me that the coon dose a job on the mulberry tree when the berries are ready . Hope that will help of the use of bait.

Keep saying that fruit paste baits or odors of such are good canine and coon producers well into December and January in my experience. Lots of fruits will have a interest if they have some push to them or you need to get them right on target for moving animals to pick up the scent. Meat and fruit paste baits work well in gang set areas. Try some for yourself to see how they work.

if I was going to sweeten it up I would add a little honey

As hard as it may be with all the ingredients out there at your disposal, I would keep the bait simple.

Telling yarns is those that make crap to sell that is junk or no better than anything else. Anymore when I read a post I ask myself what is their angle or interest. Is there an overstock on fruit based baits this month? I want a refund.

I meant on my purchase that didn't turn out to be the holy grail to catching fur that was made by the experts using these secret ingredients. Well, I caught a few random singles but not consistent doubles and triples so I guess for the circus clowns it is good enough. I guess as one guy said I wasn't in the right location, lol. I was only beside my other bait and saw it first hand what worked and what didn't.Still almost a gallon on the shelf, free to a good home. Couple other commercial baits almost full I will throw in as well,I would feel bad to charge any money for it.
