According to the National Geographic research there a huge reduction to birds! Try thinking about how many more bird of prey there are now(protected)? Theres the answer. More BS. The same people who think the U.S. is killing the world. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/scien...1970/ar-AAHxTY3?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=iehp

Could not hear the video, but the birds shown were not native of the U.S. But the news line was North America. I know the English sparrow is not native. I don't know of the rest of them.

Lots of birds getting killed by West Nile Virus as It spreads across North America.
They are talking about West Nile Virus killing Millions upon Millions of birds.
More than wind turbines, even. LOL.
Birds that eat millions of insects, pollinate crops and plants, spread seeds, etc.
Yeah,
it's a BIG DEAL.

I don't know the last time I saw a Meadow Lark.
Or even a Partridge around here.
Pheasants have as much disappeared.
The Prairie Chickens are all gone.
Occasionally a Woodcock will fly over.

I'm glad to see there are some still around.
Back about 5-6 years ago a Pheasant farm quit raising then and releasing. Too many Hawks, Owls and Eagles setting and waiting on the release.
There was plenty of grain and cover. Lots of brush and woods and water.
Now there are too many Turkeys taking over all feed for other animals.
You can go by different fields in the winter and count(approx.) 100-1000 birds in the field.

Mostly see Meadows in hay fields. Rarely see em outside those areas.i think more people are turning to hay here instead of corn and soybeans.
