Hey gents, So, I made a deal with my wife that when our 1st born said "daddy" or any variation there of, that I was going to buy another tractor. My lil one is close to speaking that word, so I started looking. I'm not wanting anything too fancy, but I like the way the Ford 851's look. Just wanting something a bit smaller than my Deere to bush hog and till with. What are yall partial too? Post a pic if you have one! Pic for attention:

I'm on the hunt too. 54 cub is the coolest right now.
I have a 70s JD lawn tractor I'd trade "hint, hint".

I just bought another JD 4020 with a quick detach loader. Diesel of course. Makes two diesel 4020s with loaders because one is not enough......I have a little Ford 3000 diesel as well I utilize all the time brush hogging, pulling a 5' tiller, raking hay and small square baling. I am in the market for a fourth - likely a JD 3020 or Ford 5000 or 5610. I prefer diesels, enjoy the loaders - need at least one, live pto and working 3 point.
I have never regretted the JD 4020 and never felt it was too big.....smaller tractors are still smaller and you just cant get more ponies out of them.....
Section 179 tax code - some of you guys need to look into it and start a business if you have not. Tax code is very good for business owners and farmers currently.

When I worked for the State Wildlife Propagation Center, I used a JD 4020 w/ a 15' bat wing to mow the pens. I enjoyed that tractor, but I can't justify something that big for what I do.
