How many get out and start looking over their old trapping grounds and new area before season starts.

Every year. Animal movement changes here based on crop rotation schedules.

I have been little. Seeing what resides in the mountain drainage and canyons.

You may think before you act. The question is did you listen to your own council?

I trapped some parcels for over 50 years, I still get out preseason and check things out a few times. I very seldom ever go to set a place without looking it over at least once.
This year is too early to look at water lines-too much rain.

If it stays cool in the mornings I'll start looking over the older lines but have been looking at some new farms.

I take notes on the sprayer, chopper, and tractor. I go over the same ground time and time again through the year, and learn a lot. Taking notes is a must!!
