Ya never researched it did ya, there is an answer for the PPM in the articles, but no ya just want to blow off with some other thought you picked up some where and try to argue some more !!
You miss the point about volcano's or just ignored it out right, like so many others wrapped up in this. That it would not matter what humans do to decrease our output, one burp of a volcano, takes away any progress that even if it could be measured, was done. Add this by others going off all year long every year, and not one a major eruption and you have all kinds of increased stuff in the climate.
But let's not let facts get in the way of hysterical paranoia, with emotional miss directions and name calling, because the facts don't coincide with your story !
Sorry if my opinions or replies offend you, they are not meant to !

Getting votes by promising to defeat the enemy has worked successfully. The "enemy" was racism and poverty for decades. But, they never fixed it and nobody believes them any more. They need a new enemy that they can promise to defeat. They're out of enemies, life in the USA is pretty good for everyone. So, they had to invent one and they need to convince the masses that it's real.

Denying that humans are causing is just insane. There are 8 billion of us. Our cars, power plants, factories etc all spew CO2, we know this without a doubt. CO2 levels are far higher than they were, we also know this without a doubt. I fail to understand why this is so hard for people to understand,
tell me, Sir...does a correlation in time establish a scientific cause and effect relationship?
(because that's all you got)

Hilarious how you people fall for this political crap. The science is very simple, and very proven. The fact that a letter was sent from an organization that makes it's money by denying climate change, to a governmental body, is not evidence of anything. If you actually read the letter and fall for their simplistic arguments then you are a moron. AGAIN: Deny all you want, it only makes you sound ignorant.

CGilliam, lead by example and get rid of you car. Don't heat or cool your house, or use anything that is made with or uses fuel. No cooking too. Or isn't it really that bad?

Climate emergency= a creative way to tax people for a issue that does not exist. So them doing nothing and taking credit for the "fix" and they will pay themselves well for the great work they never did.
I couldn't have said it any better.

That volcano blew up not to long ago gave off all kinds of co2 not a word about that? Trees eat co2 where is the tree planting programs world wide if we are is dire straights?
1. Humans can't control volcanos, but we can reduce our emissions. I shouldn't have to tell you this.
2. Planting trees is a good thing, and we should all be doing it, can we at least agree on that? And such programs do exist.
If anything , reduced emisions have caused warming.
Immediately after 911 the FFA closed all air space. Lack of contrails and emissions warmed the atmosphere by a degree
Lets go back to the smoke stacks of the industrial revolution and cool this fake global warming .

Why would I do those things? Nobody is telling anybody that is what they have to do. You people and your political crap, and your non-scientific articles are pathetic. Stick to peer reviewed research. Not a single one of you has posted a link to a peer reviewed scientific paper that proves your point. You do not get science from mainstream media, including right wing media, you get it from the research papers themselves.
As far as petting foxes, it's fun, and I like to make entertaining videos. Got a lot of people into trapping. Don't like it you can KMA.

I can find all KINDS of "peer-reviewed" papers that turned out to be wrong.
common sense trumps fake science. (you should TRY common sense sometime. an example would be: NOT handling live wild fox without Kevlar gloves).
re: nobody telling you to give up stuff...you better check out the Green New Deal (EVERY Democrat Presidential Candidate endorses it) and the textbooks your kids are reading.

CG this is where your going on the wrong track, by suggesting to read peer reviewed material, as in your examples it must be your peers your reciting and not any one with scientific data !
It's only opinions any way, none of us will live long enough to really know any difference, this debate has been going on for over 40 years now, and guess what, just in case you have not noticed, none of the claims of the climate Gods, have even come close to being a threat to anything !!
But carry on, it's your right to be different !

Everyone has an agenda, a world view and a belief system. Climate change fits the agenda of some people so they will scream and yell and defend it and attack anyone who disagrees with them. Others have nothing to gain so they watch with skepticism.
I said in 2003 that Global warming was not science it is politics, and I am more convinced than ever that is true.
Thank you Bernie☺☺☺☺ If it was true, the US and Europe have done more that the rest of the world already. I just get tired if having it thrown in our faces every day that we are the problem.

I've always done just what the gov told me was needful. I've always spring forward and fall back my time, just as any good citizen would do. I even go farther by cutting my heat back and keeping my CO2 down. However now that I'm older my head gets cold at night so I had my wife cut 2 ft. off the foot of my blanket and add it on the top of my blanket, WOW its amazing how much difference we can make when we put our minds to it!

Below is a link that reviews China's recently released climate change policies for the next decade. They are also investing heavily in infrastructure in Africa and South America, much of which is less fossil fuel based. We will see how this plays out. https://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=...0&p=china+climate+change+action+plan
Bernie's statement regarding our approach to climate change is quite accurate in my estimation, which is one reason I feel we should put a whole lot more resources into research as science will be much more friendly and practical in its approach to this issue than politics will ever be. Standing on a thin red line holding back political change is a losing battle in a rapidly expanding global economy and booming population. 9 billion humans will create far more CO2 than our current 6.7 billion plus do today; especially as the world's wealth increases and that created mobility which consumes a lot of energy of all types.
