Had one when I was a kid. Dad got him from a friend when he nipped a couple grandkids. Dad was told he didn't like kids. He was always with me and my brother. Slept in our room every night. He wouldn't eat any form of dog food. He would always hunt his own. Miss that dog.

One of my aunts and uncles had 3 Irish Setters when I was kid . They never had any children so their dogs where their children .They are beautiful dogs and at one time where great hunting dogs

I had one years ago. She was actually a pretty decent pheasant dog except for retrieving. She would find a downed bird and stay with it, but not bring it back.


Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.
