The only solution is to have two wives. That way they can comfortably share their pointless drivel with each other, and leave you alone except for when they need something fixed or squarshed.
I have never had two wives at the same time, but close enough to it for a while. A good friend of my wife had live-in-boyfriend problems and needed a place to stay for a couple of months.
It was the most peaceful 2 months of my married life. She got back together with her boyfriend before I could throw a monkey wrench in their relationship. I regret that every day.

Ive been married for 15 years. My wife could talk an hour and me not hear a word of it, and can nod my head and grunt noises in all the right times. She got to tell me all about her day and i didnt miss whatever i was watching on tv. Everyone wins. You will eventually learn how to do that or go crazy. She does the same to me so its all fair.

I think the trick is to be with smart women, who are relatively busy and somewhat tired.
