Can't seem to find an UNLINED lightweight lined Carhartt jacket with hood with inside pockets, one zippered. Have been checking Farm and Fleet but haven't gone online to see if Carhartt quit making them.

My old one has outside pockets busted out and fraying everywhere. All broke in and fits like a soft glove. Trouble is I lose gloves out the pockets. I like the inside zippered pocket so the cell phone goes in there. It stays warm and dry and I can hear it.

Even the look alike Work N Sport and Walls haven't got an unlined a lightweight lined jacket offered on the rack.

P.S. Susan has informed me this is not an unlined jacket, but a lightweight lined jacket.

Ideas?

I browsed Carhartt's website and it appears they no longer sell that particular type of jacket. I looked at Berne and Tractor Supply's sites as well and didn't see anything like that being offered for sale either.

It seems even the lightweight jackets being made have a thin liner of some kind.

Find a patch and use silicone to patch it in.

My daughter used to repair stuff like that for me often. She would remove the old pockets completely and replace with a double thick new/improved one. Take it to a local seamstress.

Indeed I do Zim! In fact, my local seamstress has just informed me this jacket has a lightweight lining, and is not unlined.

Hmmmm . . . .

Full surgery there, eh Traprjohn? Might be the way to go.

Dang, wish I would have bought a couple of these when I got this one.

There is a place here in Minot ND that makes Carhartt type coats , coveralls, pants and bibs. They will make what ever you want. Souring Eagle is the name. They will replace zippers on their items free too. I bought a heavy lined coat and had some bird hunting vests custom made by them. I have been very happy with the items from them. Give them a call.

Sage advice from the man who wears only a green and gold thong during Packer games.

With hood and comes in XL Tall and has inside pocket. Flannel lined. I can live with that. This might be a good replacement.

You'd be happy with that. Just note, it has snaps, not a zipper. I'm beginning to like my snaps better than zippers. I think they move better while bending over.

Snaps. Not a zipper. Well, I don't think I can live with that. Snaps, in the long run, for me anyway, never stay closed.

I'll keep looking.

Match that up with a pair of skinny jeans, Converse high-tops, and a matching scarf and you'll be the snazziest trapper on the river.

Forgot to add a set of earbuds leading down into the handy inside phone pocket.
