Ok this is probably an easy one but how do you blind set coon trails? Pictures would be great as well. I will be using 1 1/2. Thanks

Keep it simple. I normally just pound in a trap bad and cover with whatever it on hand. Grass, leaves or dirt. Use guides sticks but no need to build a fence. I like a stepping stick about thumb size, don't know if it matters too much, but it makes me feel better.


Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I like to put a step over stick about 2-3 inches dia. an place trap right on the side of it ,right where they would step over at

One thing to keep in mind is if you stake-you will have a bomb crater. I rake (using my hands) available ground duff and litter back to leave a corridor where the trail was originally and reset.

Pocket sets in most any flowing water works great on coon..
