I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

If you look at the pic real close he has some really nice brows. Look at the deers left side . The brow almost looks like his g-3 but that is really his brow showing up because of the angle.

Snowy's trespasser buck doesn't have the goods.

two or three more years maybe but not this year.

How long ago did you kill him? Ones that are that size are deleted from the records and no longer appear after 3 years

Really?
Go ahead JBird, post those pics ONE more time. wink
And to the OP, I see mid 150- 160.
Dandy!

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Very nice deer, some one needs to shoot it so we get a tape to it.My guess is 146-148 another year will put more mass on his antlers,it's a shooter or a good wall hanger.

Sorry but trail cameras absolutely can be used in Montana. The cell type can not be used in season. That law was changed a couple years ago.Check the regs.

I question your knowledge of Mt game laws .
According to taxi man it is legal to use game cams

Early in this thread all you were worried about was if snowy broke the law !
Always got to stir in something don't you.

You may be right on that, jbyrd63.

The latest B&C whitetail record book I have is that 4th edition and in it, they listed 39 Sub-170" Alberta whitetail scoring at least 160".

Some of those 39 Sub-170" deer were shot as far back as 1976, so at least until 2003,

they were still listing those sub-170" deer at the end of each listing of booners along it's rank.

Update******* I just checked my Copies of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Edition B&C Whitetail Record Books

and they certainly DO continue to cumulatively list all Sub-170" whitetails scoring over 160 inches.

For Alberta, they list all whitetail entered over 160" inches in every Edition of the record book

from the 1st Edition onward through the 4th Edition.

Now maybe now a days, because of space considerations, they have stopped this practice, but as of 2003, they are listed in all the record books.
