There are times to be a lefty, in favor of labor. And there is time to be a right winger, in favor of capitalism.
When either one goes too far then its time to jump ship and push it back to the middle of the stream.
When Capitalism goes so far that profit is the most important thing and things like working conditions and wages are forgotten then it time to be a lefty.
When the left goes too far and private property rights are abolished then its time to jump to the right.
Ideally you want minimal Gov't, maximum personal rights with a society that values and acknowledges its rights and responsibilities to itself and others.
Now our Gov't is growing ever larger, our personal rights are always under attack and society doesn't value others rights and it ignores it own responsibilities.
Right now the left has gone too far. Time to jump to the right. I disagree. Myself I will always be on the right. Individual freedom is always the most important thing. The left is always about control. For example, if a person is right leaning but don't agree with trapping, that individual would not try to eliminate one's individual liberty to trap but would just not purchase fur products. Demand for said product would determine the fate of trapping. If they are left leaning and don't agree with trapping, CA being a fine example, they just eliminate/outlaw trapping. They don't recognize individual freedom but only recognize control.

yep, communism, socialism, fascism, all the same. no freedom at all. state controls every thing. even how much money you are allowed to have
calling Nazi's right wing is just more propaganda to accuse people who believe in live and let live to look like evil tyrants
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Anarchy is total individual freedom with zero gov't intervention in your life. Survival of the fittest.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Freedom to do as I please? That's where an unchecked extreme right goes to. There needs to be some level of control. Too much of anything is bad.

I say communists socialists and facists are not all that different, they all claim the role of government is to nanny the citizens. Absolutely... Does it really matter what "ism" it's labeled if the state ends up being the supreme authority on EVERYTHING? It all boils down to one "ism" and that is statism. All the other labels are just semantics and playing a shell game with economics. Mike Well said Mike & Danny!!!

Yes Dirty D I would be left of anarchy because I believe in our Republic. I didn't realize that was what you were referring too. It seemed to me by your statement you were referring to left and right within our government.
