I thought people weren't supposed to interfere with nature?? Just let it take it course? I do like that limb saw idea though that was really good thinking. Keep a guy from getting stomped or gourd trying to get closer.. My son has one them saws just like that one.. Seeing that just ran a whole bunch new ideas in my head how to use it..
Thanks for posting that..

Interesting! Considering it came off of CNN, I thought they did a real good job of portraying these hunters in a positive light.
Did you happen to catch the gal's middle name? I agree about CNN. Posthumus...weird.
Eh...wot?

Good on them for the deer and us hunter/trappers!
And the white haired guy said it right,"there is such a thing as FAIR chase"!

the pole saw is the best Idea I have seen .
but I don't get not letting them die then eating both.
to me it is food fighting , in a few more minutes it will be food not fighting.
while the saw is a lot less personal risk , it still represents risk , and call me a chicken the idea of an injury that keeps me out of work for no food gained seems stupid.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

To each their own.
More good will come from that act than just a meal or two.

I can see where surgery with chain saw on the end of a pole could have complications Yea,,could have got ugly with that saw.I think the deer would both have died any how though so worth a shot.
