I have some apple lure that is just a thick liquid that i like to pour around the rim of my DPs baited with cat food. Works well.
So today I bought some raspberry extract and want to mix it with a base that is thick. Was thinking of Karo. Do you think this would work or do you have another suggestion.

Guess Ill give the Karo a try and let you know the results...

Karo is pretty thick and in cold weather I doubt you could pour it out. Maybe add some glycerin to it to help thin it down and freeze proof it a little.

I would do as wormbobskey says id take 4 parts karo and 1 part glycerine and add your extract and blend it together then id put it in a wide mouth jar and use it as a smear lure stick a stick or whatever in the jar and should have enough to lure the top of the dp. I do that with dunlaps firefly I really like the consistency of that fire fly. has the same consistency as his (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) fire but it smells like you want to spread it on toast.
