In the north here we have had an uptick in coyote numbers for the first time in a very long time. Less wolf sign this summer at least until lately. I see Rick Olson also has plenty of coyotes this year he is a ways north and west of here. Hopefully it's those good looking dogs that are moving down. We'll see in three weeks or so when I start calling.

First coyote, big male with poor fur, he had a .22 or shotgun hole in leg, bloody leg Second one first of two snared on a long running fence, runs between two wet land areas, adult male Third another big adult male, he would only lay on the ground and glare at us, like I don't like you being this close to me and that stinking dog has to go!! First picture, Lacy looking for coyotes, we are on a hill, can see for a good mile. Fourth picture is a nasty sick looking coyote, I have caught 5-6 here in last 4 years that were nasty, brown kinky, thin hair, sticky, smells like dead sewage or hog filth, I don't know what it is , it's only place I've seen it, there's a big ugly brown male here too, he needs to die Then picture 6, a big female maybe bloody leg coyotes mate, I can't remember how many females I have caught over the years on this flat set, a lot, some big males too. Next two of my grandsons went with on Sunday, I snared this medium sized male, he is between dog and kids, then grandson's picture of the young male. The last coyote a big aggressive female, two this year tried to grab Lacy, they ment business too!! Last picture some kind of red berries or seeds, not sure what they are
