Im to the point of working on my own chains. Any recommendations for a decent breaker/spinner combo? A guy can spend from $60-200+
.

Get a hold of Bailey's in California I've got the one they sell and it's a great tool as long as you don't loan it out and forget who has it ha ha
I'm sure they have another store I can't remember where it's at off hand.

I have one from Archer and it works just fine ... about 75 bucks if I remember right
You'll have that money back pretty quick when you buy chain on a roll.

Let's go Brandon

I have no experience making chains, I've pondered it, just want to ask the engineer.
Scoob, How do you like Archer brand chain?
The price is appealing.

I too have been using the Archer chain. I like it. It seems to hold up almost as well as the Lazer Chain I get from Cutters Choice. Sharpens well. Only complaint I have is the initial stretch of the chain seems more the the more expensive chain but it settles in quite quick.I will buy another 50 foot reel when I need more chains again.

My stihl is set up for .325/.063 chain if it makes any difference.

I liked Oregon, it got NA locally. Then liked Carlton, same thing.
I file more than grind, so like the easier to file chain.
Stihl makes good chain but it eats my files and takes longer.
