My son bought a dozen, to try. I am a Belisle man, but through the years have used Duke, Victor, but never Bridger.
I don't like the small spring eyes, but get it, for jaw closure. I also found the trigger/dog system lacking, and required quite a bit of tuning, (even with wood pans).
Spring strength is very good. The one thing, in particular, that bothered me was the safeties. I hate the loose swinging hook-style, but these even swing in different directions. As in, one up, one down. A poor design, as upon compression and setting, one spring will be live.


Just doing what I want now.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.
