Seen plenty of pictures like that in books about Vietnam as well as videos.
Not sure what the big deal is. War is war, physically and psychologically.

As far as photos......ain't no different than some of the many photos guys took of themselves in the Pacific during WW2, or the ones guys of my generation took of themselves in S.E. Asia. I knew guys that actually brought back parts as souvenirs. Never bothered me in the least. Apparently these days those things are frowned on. Crimeny, they even raised Cain with soldiers that grabbed up pistols, etc. when they were in the Middle East fighting. Jeez, it ain't like they were sneaking back RPG's or whatnot. The folks they got them from didn't need them any more, lighten up.

All I ever knew of was gold teeth and a skull or two. Some also made necklaces from ears/finger bones. Never heard of any family jewels!

People need to get real and quit overblowing things. He is a highly trained (highest?) soldier above the rest. Almost a machine. What do you expect from time to time. They do America's dirty work
You realize you answered your own post. Looking for thoughts and feedback man.

Allegedly you got more props if you took them while they were alive and sent them running back. As he got older his stories got more graphic.

He's a Got (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) Hero. He protected our Country in a time of combat. He deserves a f'n medal! While we where safe and sound asleep in our homes that warrior was over seas defending us against isis invaders.

He is the boss, why would you want someone working for you that didn't do as you wanted? Because liberals don’t like order. It’s why they don’t know what restroom to use.

Yep the Monarch fired Spencer, every time its not his will he gets rid of them. Are you stupid or what? First that's the Commander and Chief's duty and perogative. Technically the CINC could fire any or all servicemember(s) or DOD personnel at will without cause or recourse. And the proper term is Commander in Chief, not Monarch. We select a new one every four years with the option to keep the current one for an additional term.

I'll say it was wrong and he should face some consequence but taking his trident away is too much.
People need to get real and quit overblowing things. He is a highly trained (highest?) soldier above the rest. Almost a machine. What do you expect from time to time. They do America's dirty work I don't see anything he did that requires or deserves "consequences". Spencer, on the other hand, absolutely deserved to be fired. I also suspect there are some political admirals that also need to be fired.
