I must be tough on footwear. I can't seem to have pair of boots that will last more than 6 months without wearing out somewhere. I've worn Vasque hiking boots, which held up about the best. Keens came unstitched after 4 months. This is the second pair of redwings that are falling apart. I wear them most days, and don't always take care of the leather the best. It is the soles of seams that are failing. What do you wear for hard use every day shoes or boots?

Redwings, the good leather ones. Mine have held up great climbing and cutting down trees which is pretty hard on a boot.

L.L. Bean Cresta leather hikers. They are not cheap but I wore them as my everyday footwear for 3 years then bought another pair. The first pair are still good, but tread is wore off the sole.

I use TimberlandPro for shop/yard/jobsite environments. Been pretty happy, they seem to hold up better than my redwings did.
