Not even many shots today around me. I only heard 4 or 5 that were close, within a mile or so.

Sat till 12:00, saw 2 doe bout 9:30, very little shooting, bout 8-10 shots till I came in. Saw 1 other hunter, neighbor saw nothing this afternoon. Not real impressed with this Saturday start deal, but I am sure PGC will report record kill.

Was a good day in the woods with my son first time we've been able to get out together in awhile. I tagged out in archery but wasn't going to miss an opportunity to be in the woods with him. He didn't connect on a buck today but neither one of us really cared. We saw coyotes and he couldn't get a crack at any of them, saw 2 fishers and around a dozen deer.one buck sneaking through that he couldn't get a good look at around 2:00 but it went over to the neighbors 15 year old nephew and he got it so it all worked out.lol. It was a 12 point with a drop tine, heck of a nice buck for the youngster. That's a nice PA Buck.

A friend got an ugly 20 point with a 10 inch drop tine in 2F. One of the oddest deer I've seen taken in PA.
