After over 50 years of deer hunting, this is the first non - typical I've ever killed!!
Dressed 165lbs (so I guess around 200lbs on the hoof)
with 23 points. Did a Western (Euro) mount on him.
Last Friday was a nasty morning - raining is the woods - but that makes for easy sneaking and the deer were really moving.

National Forest - extreme S. Illinois in the Shawnee National Forest. I'm 8 miles from the Ohio River / KY State line.

If I remember you live south of the Karbers Ridge blacktop slightly. I grew up 3 miles east of there.

That is correct. Was raised at the corner of Sparks Hill rd and the blacktop. Southwest corner.
