You might be better off setting where the coyotes leave or enter the Ice.

You might be better off setting where the coyotes leave or enter the Ice. I agree with beav unless you got a choke point on the ice then set those .

Get some 3/8ths x 4" lag screws and use your cordless drill to screw them Into the ice. Leave about 2" so above the ice so you can wrap your stabilizer wire around the lag. You can also anchor your snare with that same lag.
