How have the conditions been treating you? We had about a foot of snow last week and it really put the skids to furbearer movement where I'm at. Fisher, coyote, fox and cat sign was quite abundant prior to the storm but the deep snow has them holed up.

We had a heavy rain last night that really knocked down the snow and it's supposed to drop into the mid teens tonight and only reach twenty tomorrow. I'm anticipating some movement tonight. Sign will be hard to come by when everything ices over.

I pulled my line for deer season. Was going to reset last weekend but we've had nearly an inch of rain and warm weather since then.

I need cold (frozen ground) and dry.

Eh...wot?

-8 right now with about 18" of hardpack. Wet fall prevented farmers from getting all their corn out so predators are in the fields where all the game is at. Very little movement as they have no need to go far. This year sucks.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

One minute your on ice or frozen ground then you break through into a muddy spot out of the blue.

80 degrees. Drought conditions. After beaver and otter. don't plan to set for predators until we have 2 weeks of cooler weather.

It was perfect trapping weather until last night. 12°, all ground is now frozen. Not my preference.

78 today...gonna be COLD tomorrow with a high of 53!! Critters should be moving and I don’t have any sets out. First farm comes open the 19th and I took off from then until the 29th. Then move all traps on the 1st until they get tired of paying!!
Always wanted a little snow to see tracks, but nothing like what y’all get.
