I should clarify my post I guess. Initial cost of those bibs is high. But in the end they are cheap. keep blood off your clothes underneath, save the knees in blue jeans, last for years of hard use.

Thrift stores are a treasure trove for good inexpensive work clothes I'll be the first to knock good will they don't help people as much as one would think or expect. I wear insulated zip to my hip pants quite often when I take my snowmobile out on the snare line.
I'm also a fan of my Filson shelter cloth coat but it darn sure isn't cheap to buy .
