I will post in the trap shed as well, I am looking for the hatchet that goes with the black beauty combo. My dad had this combo many years ago when he was alive and like any kid I lost the hatchet. I still have the sheath and knife and would love to have the complete set. Just wondering what may be out there.

Yes I’ve seen what’s on eBay and it’s not a perfect match but an option for sure

I remember my dad had one of those combos. Pretty handy when you got a just shot elk to take care of. I have no clue what happened to his.

My dad and grandpda carried the knife/hatchet combos in the 50s and 60s hunting mulies out west. They were very popular back then.

Still have the hatchets, the knives got used up or lost then replaced.

Let me know if you’d part with a hatchet as I have the knife and sheath

My uncle always carried one Elk hunting.

I was never able to come up with all three at one time. I'd always have one or two of the three piece set, all Western. I really liked the shape of the knife for skinning Elk and Deer but it did not really hold an edge well, easy to sharpen though. Split many spines with that ax when quartering to put on pack animals.
