Just pushing a little at a time. The "smarter" gun control freaks know that baby steps are the key. Take this little "reasonable" step and then this next "reasonable" step and so on and so on...….. I say, NOT ONE MORE INCH!

I have always wondered. For example if I have a canceled weapons permit but can not carry my weapon into a Post Office and get shot while in the Post Office shouldn't the post office be held responsible? I have the means to protect myself but the Post Office would not allow me to. Just something that run across my mind. That would go for any safe zone.

After all, no one from the post office has freaked out in the last hour anyway. "Going Postal" is just a made up term.

Let me guess, the sponsor(s) of this legislation have a D behind their name(s).
Eh...wot?

"And, they would also be permitted to carry single-shot and single-action firearms in those areas that prohibit semi-autos."
This line from the article caught my attention. It makes me wonder how they're defining semi-auto. Depending on the definition, double action revolvers could be defined as semi-auto, since you don't have to perform any actions between trigger pulls. My 1911 is single action only. Wonder how they will get around that ? Good example of non-gunowners not knowing what they're talking about. If you're going to write legislation of any sort, you've got to know what you're talking about. Anti-gun legislators are infamous for not knowing what in the world they're saying.

Not 100% sure but I think it's illegal to have a gun in any Post Office (federal law)
