Robert has told me and mentioned it before. When everyone else was using the latest and greatest lures/prepared baits. He won the coyote championship using fried chicken down a hole. That should make some people scratch their heads.

An Ethiopian or Kenyan has recently ran a marathon in less than 2 hours. No I can't do it. It has however, been witnessed and recorded and in print if you care to look it up. While your at it, check out the world record coyote catch in a season.

He'd of been out of luck if some of the folks I know would of been around. They would of fallowed him around like a hound and cleaned him out. The ones I have in mind can pack it away too. On another note. I have a friend and ADC guy that uses mainly bacon grease down his holes and wears em out. Guess there's more to thinking like a coyote than meets the eye or stomach.

What do you think he’s doing with this blog? Trying to silence the critics that don’t have the intestinal fortitude to get it done.

Nothing hard about this.....just count the coyotes in the pics! Robert takes a pic each afternoon when he unloads. As busy as he is running traps and skinning, he ain't got time to photoshop anything! lol

I just hope this thread keeps going I would like to see the end result.

What bothers me is that Backboneless or whatever his handle his is basically calling Robert Waddell a liar but at the end of the day there’s gonna be a horse’s backside in every crowd and my bet is that Robert doesn’t give a rats backside what he thinks. JMHO.

As impressive as Robert is, and he’s darn impressive, I know 5 guys doing daily totals as good as his, and one other guy who if I had to bet is going to get Robert in the total in the end. I’m darn proud to know these guys and blessed to have a front row seat to the race. Glad im not closed minded to these guys accomplishments and can enjoy their ambition

And that goes for the rest of Us.

I know what this garbage is like,I know it well.

I dont think im gonna break 100 yotes this year.. but i sure hope Robert gets 1000. We’re riding along on a epic individual quest that is remarkable from where im standing as a onlooker. Well most of us are anyways. I doubt there is any foul play in his counting methods, nor do i care where hes trapping, what hes using, or how they were caught. 1000 coyotes caught, is 1000 coyotes caught. The fact that he has the gumption to set a solo goal that is unfathomable to a select few, shows his willingness to put in the work, and there unwillingness to push themselves.

Hope Robert finds a buyer that will pay well for frozen hides.

I will buy one from him and tan it, be pretty cool to say this was 1 of a 1000 coyotes caught by one man in one season...
