By gosh my hat is off to the guy. I have heard he is a hard worker, and he knows which states he needs to be in. It is good that he is sharing this adventure and goal.

Weather he makes it or not, I can't help but respect him for such an accomplishment.

The amount of information he is aware of is pretty cool. Like heavy ND dogs average 3-3.5 pelts per cubic foot of freezer space while Kansas dogs are 5-6 pelts per cubic foot. That is some hard work and thought right there. That is just one detail. One would assume he has everything thought out to that amount.

Best of luck to Robert on hitting and surpassing his goal! When you work that hard it's not really luck though.

Over half way there. What date did he start and when does the quest end?

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Many questions can be answered by going to the blog he has set up documenting it. Has pictures from every day but one I believe. You can know when he started, how many he caught each day...

I hope he makes it or comes very close and then he decides to attend as many rondy's as he can squeeze in as to me that would be a huge draw and really help the trapping associations during this down cycle.

At least he is catching something that has a market as well. Rats don't bring much but they sell, coyotes sell and do so over a wide range of prices, The rest of the stuff just waits for better times.

When talking to him today he figures he's going to come up short of his goal of 1000. But should hit close to 900.
I think he had 28 today.

Robert is a big supporter of the FTA. He is always at the National FTA convention, does demos and has set up the adventure auctions the past few years too.

Wow, just wow.

His one day catches are impressive let alone collectively.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

This is an inspiring feat! I can't imagine skinning that many dogs per day for that many days in a row. My hat is off to Robert wether he makes his goal or not. That takes some serious planning, execution, and GRIT.

I know I have had him on the slate twice when we hosted the FTA and he has given demos at our WTA as well. Robert has worked to promote trappers and trapping for decades. I was just stating that this coyote chase would be a huge draw and really be helpful for many organizations during the times when things are in a low cycle.

Hats off to him, man I get sore just looking at the pictures. Can't imagine what the skinning would be like.

He's pulling traps today and I just got off the phone with him and he has 20 or 21 in the truck. He catches so many coyotes a day he forgets how many he has. LOL I think he said he averaged 20 coyotes a day for 28 days.
The other day he told me he had miss counted by one. Or It had come back to life and jumped out of the truck. LOL

6 or 7 min to skin one.
