Y'all are gonna lose this agreement. Only to anyone that doesn't believe in truth and facts. Hey man, all you all that want to support the NRA have at it. Just don't portray yourself's as anti gun control, that's just sad. The NRA is in favor of gun control, they throw guys like you a small bone once in a while to keep your dues money comin in for ole Wayne to live in high cotton.

I'll give you a fact...... There's anti- gun bills sitting in the Senate that the dem controlled house passed, that if it wasn't for NRA backed republicans, you'd see passed and be following shortly. Which ones? Also, are they solely the NRA, is there no involvement from the GOA or SAF?

Are you giving credit to the gun control specialist NRA, instead of the Senators knowing what their constituents want? Why don't you answer danny's question hippie? What major gun control has happened that they weren't a part of?

All the more reason to join or renew your memberships to the NRA. They get a bad rap all the time but there is probably no organization that does more to secure our second amendment rights than the NRA. Make no mistake about it, there is a battle going on. The left is always doing everything they can to strip away our rights a little bit at a time. I wouldn't be surprised if they are reading threads like this and laughing about it, because all the bickering and fighting we all do is just adding to their cause. They want us divided, not united. Regardless of where this information is coming from, if you take the time to do a little bit of research for yourselves you will see for yourselves what's going on. The bottom line is, the liberal left-wing politicians are trying to pass unconstitutional legislation that would violate the second amendment rights of law-abiding citizens of Virginia. And the liberal Governor of Virginia is threatening to use the National Guard as his pawns to enforce the unconstitutional laws if the local law enforcement officials don't comply with his laws. Sounds like a tyrannical government to me. That is exactly what the 2nd amendment was written for. If you read it, you will see it is for militias to defend against a tyrannical government. It is not to protect our right to hunt or own a shotgun. I have no doubt there are people on this site keeping other all shook up about the NRA, 2A right and other issues. We can be our own worst enemies. I do what I think is right for me and the issues I support. Do not waste your time and energy getting into a ******* match with people you do not share the same view, you will not change there minds or view. Most are there just to bait you. JMO

This is the real fact. People in VA are ready to start shooting. That is why we still own guns. Not because a bunch of lets infringe anyway clubs like the NRA are looking out for you. It is you looking out for yourself that scares the Hades out of politicians. The NRA exists for the same reason PETA exists. To make money. They have no desire to achieve their stated goals cause the money would dry up. No good scum suckers run both groups.

Nobody is baiting anyone, that's another lame excuse. Worst enemies is another one. We ask you to do your due diligence and secure the facts because we want to be a positive force in securing our 2nd. Heck, I'm as old as you staunch NRA supporters, I used to support them too. Difference is, I seen the light by looking in to the truth. Research from the NRA beginning, don't be fooled.

So if the NRA is told by law makers " We are going to write this law for back round checks, do you want input or not, either way it's happening". What would be the correct response? The correct response would be something like "if you pass it we're going to make sure you don't get re-elected, we'll stand in front of your house with signs for the next year, here's our input-shall not be infringed". Something along those lines. Not "we fully support this bill, and don't think guns should be carried" like they've said in the past. Whether or not the NRA does good today is debatable, I'm sure they do some good, and they're certainly better than nothing. But there's no denying the fact that they've made some major screw ups in the past by supporting major gun control.

There is a huge problem and it needs addressed, but your NRA is part of that problem. Do your due diligence. Apparently, you are living up to your disclaimer. You sound like you are drunk and you are not making any sense. What's the GOA? Governor of Alaska? Alabama? How is the NRA a part of the problem? What are you doing to be a part of the solution?

What major gun control has happened that they weren't a part of? Who do you think is primarily responsible for helping getting the right senators elected that favor the 2nd amendment? You guys who think the NRA is in favor of gun control are smoking some crazy crack or something. In fact, I wouldn't doubt that you guys are really some crazy internet trolls trying to confuse the ignorant and gullible people who read these threads. Don't be misled by these crazy wack jobs people. The NRA is never in favor of gun control legislation. And they work hard to get elected officials into office who fight for your second amendment rights. That, and they have lawyers who are working really hard at fighting any and all anti-2nd amendment threats that violate our 2nd amendment rights. I wish these crazy wack jobs would start providing some real evidence of all their false accusations instead of spreading their lies to gullible people.

GOA = Gun Owners of America a huge pro-2nd lobbying group. …….. Where ya been? Thanks for the clarification. I have heard of the Gun Owners of America. I'm sure they are a good organization, but explain to me how they are supposedly the saviors of the Universe, when hardly anybody has heard of them, or anything they have done, and the NRA has spent fortunes on helping protect the second amendment.
