I share your interest in crows. We don't have them here. We have ravens instead, which are really cool birds too.

Me too. We have a few around and the thought of walking up to that large dead pure white animal just gives me a wierd feeling. May as well have a horn coming out of its head.

walleyed would never shoot a bear of any species
unless the bear was about to cause bodily harm
to a human being.
Have had the rifle/shotgun mounted and safety off
on around a half dozen brown bear on the Alaskan
Peninsula during the 1980's while guiding sport fishermen
but luckily never had to follow through.

I probably wouldn't shoot a housecat. One of my grand-daughters is a cat person, and would never forgive me.

domesticated cats are at the top of my list of what too shoot , they do not belong outside free roaming . period my own daughters are "cat people" I live with cats I don't like it but I live with it till they are out of college and can take them with them. but as a responsible cat owners they need to make sure they never go outside to be an invasive species. as for what I wouldn't shoot , Humming birds and birds to small to make a meal of are safe. the cats take more than enough of them any way. I guess I could find a reason to shoot nearly anything that is being a nuisance but anything that I don't care to eat can have a pass as long as it doesn't make a nuisance of it's self and isn't an invasive species.

A bear. I don't like bear meat. For me, it's comparable to eating a black lab, hypothetically of course. I've never eaten a black lab, but have tried bear a number of times. Yuk!
Funny how drinking 8 cups of water a day seems like a lot, but 8 beers in 3 hours goes down like a fat kid on a see-saw.
