I did not know that, pretty cool. You would need a camo one for hunting and a fancy one for your dress blanky. I would not cut the blanket in half so in a big wind it could fly behind me like I was going fast and give me more protection when I fall down, because I will fall down.

I usually call those cloak pins, but I have heard them called penannular pins too.

These are some of Diane's cloak pins. The one with the string is called a ring brooch. We have more cloak pins in a storage bin somewhere. Mine are heavier and more ornate.
