Pulling together an order of lures and plan on picking up a few of Andy's lures. What are some of your favorites?
I am targeting K9's (Coyote and Reds)
Thanks

I’ve used his horse meat bait, super cat, Montana long call, coyote gland lure, and a few others with great success. The ones I named are my go to lures and bait.

Maybe in the off season you can get ahold of Andy for his urine,he's tough to track down, his off season isn't really much of a time period either. He might be at a few conventions later this year, good luck. I'm not on Facebook. Does he have a catalogue or any contact info? The Furtaker national is in my neck of the woods. Maybe he will be there. There is so many people on this site with negative feelings about him, I will automatically do business with him.

I’ve always bought from him directly at the Montana trappers association rendezvous. Always been a stand up guy in all my dealings with him

I do not remember where it was posted but if I recall correctly, I think he is no longer doing direct retail sales. His products are available through several dealers.

Montana long call and Cat Gland. Both are real thick and pasty. They withstand the weather really really well.

To be clear, I was looking at Weiser Lures on DakotaLine Snares site. They are selling his 2oz lures for 9.75 and 4oz for 17.25, thats why I am considering trying a few. I will not be ordering direct from Andy.

Canine 14, Montana Long Call seem to get empty quick. His Horse Bait gets a lot of attention too...

My favorite Weiser lure would be the one that actually showed up. It's funny how soon people forget. Wade Ryan..you supported a man , that owed one man money. It was posted here on Tman . That post didn’t last long and I don’t forget, so be careful who you support . I have had one big dealer lie to me more than once, I don’t buy for them now, but I will not post that on a forum . People can say what they want. His stuff works great. I just ordered more today. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone deserves a second chance. What did the savior say? 70 times 70? I’ll buy his stuff every season!

This is from a friend of mine who thought he was also a friend of Andy's.
He's still doing it as of two months ago and he's had way more than a second chance. Dozens of contact attempts including on his personal phone and nothing. Had to go through the credit card company to get the money back. He refused to send the product and wasn't going to give the money back either. The bank had to take it from him.
And now he's apparently on the vendor list for the western this year right down the highway from here. I can't believe he's planning to show his face. He's a thief and I'm very tempted to stand in front of his table and tell everyone about it.
He is not making a mistake. Ehh, I’ll still order his products. I won’t let pride get in my way of using a good product.

TN if you’re talking about Passamonte I simply said his book had information that anyone could learn from. I wasn’t advocating anyone supporting him.
Schmitt’s sold out of his lures practically gave them away. Dakota line is having reduced rates.... anyone see a pattern? It’s your money spend it how you want. I don’t think anyone has questioned the products work. Last I knew the guy I suggested his products to never got them and doesn’t want them. Moved right on. Kind of like I’m going to. Happy trapping.

I can't imagine he would do that again after all of the bad press he got here last year and the efforts he made to clear his name. I've read some great things about his lures and was considering buying some from a distributor but I'll hold off and see where this goes.

I've read some great things about his lures and was considering buying some from a distributor but I'll hold off and see where this goes. A lying thief is a lying thief. He doesn't just wake up one day and decide to do right. He got away with it before, played the sad song, and apologized. Most of the sheep gave him the benefit of doubt. People who knowingly support a lying thief aren't much better than the thief. Like other sheep, they'll eventually end up in coyote turds.
