Sorry but it is not worth nearly as much today as it was in 1934. IE; a new rifle , five hundred gallons of gas, eight or nine new tires etc etc...

One interesting point is that on the back side it does NOT say “in God we trust”. I had a $50.00 bill that was similar - not sure what year/series it was - I sold it for $60.00. Would have been worth more if it hadn’t been well used. Jediknight is the person to talk to about old money.

jbyrd63... I had the whole series of $1 through $50 a few years back... face value was $86 and I sold them to the same person for $100. This guy was a collector of paper money. He a fabulous collection … he showed me the value book at that time and he was far off from what I got. The thing is condition... any folds devalue it immensely, even if it is in good condition otherwise. If you could find a begging collector or someone that needed that denomination, you might get and extra $5 or $10 bucks for.
