I had one go through my line 5-6 years ago, straight shot, didn't stop for anything, Guess he had a destination in mind. Had a buddy catch one not even 3 miles north of my line. You just never know in those areas that you have not seen sign if or when one might pass through. Every year is different, super cold or mild, deep snow no snow, food supply high or low. All those factors that we can't predict only react to, just like the critters. I always put 2 sets out in hopes one of those jokers does come through. And if I get a kitty or yote in one it is still a win, like bushman said nothing ventured nothing gained smile
