GREENCOUNTYPETE trapper G Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 18,618 Green County Wisconsin	on a sub freezing morning I wouldn't be too worried about cutting it down and placing it in a clear plastic bag and tying it off Zero here this morning , probably a lot warmer where you are depends what you want it for a display or to crush it up and keep it for over powder wadding in your Muzzle loader America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

bankrunner trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,932 iowa	Picked up 5 one day back in October this year. Took them home and right in the freezer for a few days in case, being that early. Just keep them dry, I try to keep the branches with them and set in old deer rack mounts. Ended up with 7 nests for the year with 2 more found , one never got back and someone else found, the other one was way too high up. If the paper is starting to come off or laying below it on the ground, I have used 3m spray adhesive glue to put back together.
