We picked up this coyote Monday morning and didn’t get it skunned until yesterday afternoon. Green belly had set in. We put some bleach on it hoping that will take care of the discoloration and odor. It had a really strong wet dog smell. We washed the hide in a bucket with dish soap. Once the fur dries out should the smell go away? What’s the best way to dry it out? Thanks.

Green belly isn't real bad, borax helps to, should be fine

Thanks! It’s our second one. Our first one was smaller and paler, same set though. The boys and I were really excited about it.
