Gonna move up to Alaska in April. Confirmed with my future boss up there that he is going to hire me and had a good talk with him making sure we're on the same page. So I gave my boss here my notice which he appreciated the advance notice. So I am excited to move somewhere that I have no doubt is going to challenge me in many ways but also somewhere that I have wanted to go for a long time. The working season for this contractor runs from roughly April to either end of September or possibly into October. So if I happen to decide it's not for me I can move back to Idaho for the winter and resume my normal routine here, which I enjoy this state very much as well and it also has a lot to offer. I may end up coming back to Idaho for the winter anyway, as I've been dating this girl I like a lot. She works from April to November in the South on contract as a helicopter pilot. We will see where things go as far as that goes but at 31 years old and not being married or having kids I figure now is as good a time as any to head up to the North and try my hand at the outdoor opportunities Alaska has to offer.

Do it now or regret the having not taken that opportunity.

If it works out, GREAT.

If not, GREAT!

At least you made a change for the better in your way of thinking.

Bye Eric. Keep in touch via email or Tman. I'm guessing we'll not see you down here in Idaho for 3 or 4 decades. Enjoy.....

Thanks guys, yeah I figure now or never. If I don't do it now I may never.

dirtydog, gonna be east and roughly directly in between Fairbanks and Anchorage.

Thanks Gulo, like I told you earlier I will no doubt keep in contact with you. And maybe see you up there one day.

330, yeah, she's definitely a good one. We will have to see how things play out.

Better to have regrets by trying something and it not working out than to be an old man wishing you had tried. Congrats and good luck!
