Just a non sleepy cub crossing the pond

The fact the cub is out this time of year probably means it did not put on enough Winter weight and is not going to survive the Winter.

We have bears being seen here as well in NH. Odd

Yep pretty late in winter to be out and about.

Back in 86 I was down in the Stateland swamps beaverin' with my young Black and tan hound....she stgrowling low looking into the willows.
...Next day there were medium sized bear tracks in the snow followed me a 1/4 mile out.

Went for a 7 mile run this morning and couldnt believe how many Robin's all of a sudden showed up. Not sure what they eat but it ain't worms and bugs here this time of year. They were all singing and happy, and here in numbers.
Seemed a little early but a good sign spring cant be too far off now.

Raccoons have been running everywhere the past couple days. Looks like everything with a pulse is enjoying the warm weather

Maybe something happened to its mama so it had no choice but to strike put on its own?

There's a few on the roads last 2 days.
