Cats took a big hit last year, and any buyers buying cats this year was just speculation. Our cats here are not pretty to begin with, so our cats here are the new possum!

Goes to figure the largest fancy cat buyer lost $1.2 million on the NAFA flop. Also, the best cats are just now being caught.

Big change since I think it was three or four years ago, the top cats were three and four grand. Not gonna happen this year, and it may be a long time till the russian mafia has a thirst for them again! All you can do is ride the wave!

Yeah Western heavy cats will keep there price and the new grade for a western heavy will be belly fur 6 inches long and an A belly needs to be as wide as a cat is long. Not holding my breath for the next fur boom maybe when we run out of plastic for fake fur.

Wages in 1927 were roughly 40 cents per hour. My Dad remembers in the Great Depression when men worked for $1 a day and the best mink would fetch $30. A months wages! I'm sure the mink population then wasn't what it is today.

I think I'd be happy with beavers back at $1.00 an inch. THAT was not as long ago either. 1982 prices would be $3.44 an inch today.
