I’m out trapping beaver on a side channel of a medium sized river. No idea where the bank den is, found a bunch of castor mounds some just 5 feet apart. Would those be closer to the den or on the edge of territory. I’m on foot and want to set heavy and move to a new spot once I get most of them.
Thanks

Generally don't find many near the den but on rivers, they will be everywhere.
