To me probably an owl or hawk but with it laying stretched out and not eaten would lean towards a hawk killing it somewhere else and flying off and dropping it so it wont eat it, I’ve seen red tails do this with birds if they drop them after they’ve killed them they wont go back and eat them, and I have no idea why.

Weasel. Hawk or owl would have carried it off. If a rabbit gets scared it freezes in terror and a barn rat can kill one.

Nothing on camera yet, but I heard crows and magpies this morning before I went down to check. Just two small holes from magpies but left everything in place. The crows and magpies will draw the eagles into it soon I would guess.

WEASEL WITNESSED A WEASEL KILLING A RABBIT ONE TIME. IT WAS A QUICK DEATH BACK OF NECK BITE.

^ interesting. I did some research and was surprised of the amount of stuff I found that did say and show that weasels kill from the back of the neck area. They clamp on and break the neck and pretty must ride the rabbit till death. I did see were there was blood at different spots in the snow that would indicate it was bite from behind the head and run around some before it died.
